It’s not just your body you are working on, but your mind and your focus too
“food is the most abused anxiety drug. Exercise is the most underutilised antidepressant” I don’t know who wrote that above statement, but it is true. I know that many many people suffer from all kinds of anxiety, irrational fears, closed off feelings.. call them what you will. In this day and age these things, these feeling are only going to get worse, and these feelings will be passed onto the next generation without us having to do a thing. Depending on who you talk too, there could be a multitude of reasons
It’s me against…well me really
Wow look at the size of him, he is huge. Wow look at her, she is all fit and stuff. Yeah it’s a sad fact of life that we always compare ourselves to others. Why do we do that? That’s a question for daytime TV, not here because I don’t have a definitive answer. I have been training for a long time, and have been in this place myself, and although you can use others in the gym as motivation, that’s all they should be. You don’t know what their genetics are,

So I guess if you are just about to embark upon or are already on a diet, and you are dreading the restrictions that are about to be self- imposed upon you. Stop, take a step back and
Be gentle with me, it’s my first time
So here we go, welcome to the first, of hopefully many, articles coming from the mind of Silverback Jim. There is at present a very good feeling with regards to the fitness industry. Both the young and the old are seeing the benefits of regular training and a sensible eating regime. But not everyone will go to the gym. And there will be a variety of reasons for that. I don’t know what I am doing. I want to lose a bit of weight first I can’t seem to fit it in to my day I
